Swim Otters: Please bring a towel and ensure your child has a well-fitting swim suit. Goggles are optional! • What is your make-up policy for Baby & Me and Women's Clinic?

  • What if my baby is sick and we have a scheduled Baby & Me class?
Please do not bring your baby if they are sick. They should be fever free for at least 24 hours before your scheduled class. We also advise to ask the question; Would you send your baby to day-care? If so, we would love to see them! If not, please keep them home. Thank you for helping us keep our instructors and families healthy!
  • What should I expect in my upcoming Baby & Me class?
ADULT IN THE POOL: This class requires an adult in the pool with the baby and we recommend having the same adult for the entire 6 week class. However, we understand if you want to switch it up! WHAT TO EXPECT IN THE POOL: We will be going under the water and we will teach you how to do this with your baby. They may cry and that's okay! We will teach you skills to help them through this. We promise that this class will do a great job for setting them up for swim lessons in the future, as they will be acclimatized to what happens during a swim lesson. FACILITIES: There are changing rooms and "rinse-off only" showers available, along with diaper genies. We have a Calm Seating area for parents and/or other family members where they can watch the lessons and there is a snack bar in case your swimmer (or you) need a little something to eat or drink!
  • What is your make-up policy for Group Lessons, Swim Squad, and Private Lessons at Aurora Central, Adams City, Morey, and West?
You are signing up for a 7 week session; there are no drops or transfers. As a courtesy, we allow for 1 make-up per session. Makeups are not guaranteed, have no cash or credit value, and are only available when they do not exceed class limits. If you know you'll miss a lesson, watch this video on how to schedule a future absence. This video will show you how to use a Makeup Token to book a Makeup Lesson. We do not accommodate Makeups during the Summer Session. Please plan accordingly.
  • What is your make-up policy for Swim Otters?
We allow for make-ups if a swimmer has an illness, injury, family or other extraneous circumstances. Make-up swim lessons are not guaranteed. We do our best to make sure that there are enough make-up slots for swimmers who need them. We cannot guarantee that you will have a make-up at the same time as your regularly scheduled lesson time or that you will have a make-up with your regularly scheduled instructor. Make-ups have no cash value (no refunds on make-ups). Make-Ups will only be granted to and may only be utilized by students who are currently enrolled in Swim Otters. Make-ups tokens will be allocated to your family account on the day of the scheduled absence. One make-up lesson will be granted per calendar month. Make-ups can be used within three months of being granted as long as the student is still enrolled in lessons with Swim Otters at Swimming Simply. Families are responsible for looking in the iClass portal to find make-up lesson availability. In order to be granted a make-up, parents must use the Parent Portal or contact the front desk to report the absence. A make-up will not be granted if the parent notifies us after the scheduled lesson is already missed. To learn how to report a future absence watch this video. To learn how to use a makeup token watch this video.
  • Where do I park and find the pool at Morey Middle School?
Please look at the below map that shows where to find the Morey Middle School pool. We recommend giving yourself an extra 10-15 minutes on the first day if you haven’t been to the pool before! Please park in the EAST parking lot on Emerson Street. Go through Door 1, and the team will be inside to greet you on the first day
  • Where do I park and find the pool at Manual High School?
Please look at the below map and photo that shows where to find the Manual High School pool. We recommend giving yourself an extra 10-15 minutes on the first day if you haven’t been to the pool before! Take 27th street or Williams and turn into the large parking lot (you should see the football field in front). DO NOT park in the staff parking lot. Go to door #5 and the team will be inside to greet you!
  • Where do I park and find the pool at Adams City High School?
Please look at the below map that shows where to park and how to locate the pool. Under no circumstances can anyone park or drive into the bus loop. Doing so will remove our ability to use the school's pool so please use the parking lot only. We recommend giving yourself an extra 10-15 minutes on the first day if you haven’t been to the pool before! Google Maps will lead you to the front of the school, however, the doors to the pool are in the back. Follow directions to these coordinates, which is the parking lot behind the school and by the bleacher stands. From here, you will see a dangling Swimming Simply sign on the northern corner of the building marking you are in the right spot. Follow that pathway north of the building, next to a parking circle, until you get to the school doors on the left, one of which will be open. Once you're in the building, take a right, and the pool door will be at the end of the hall on the right, propped open. If you have trouble finding the pool, please call Deck Manager Lauren Stewart at (408) 396-5499.
  • Where do I park and find the pool at Aurora Central High School?
Please look at the below map and images that show where to find the Aurora Central pool and parking. We recommend giving yourself an extra 10 minutes on the first day if you haven’t been to the pool before! Use the link above which will guide you to the EAST parking lot, NOT the main entrance. The pool is located in the building facing the parking lot with three, large, circular windows. The door is on the south side of the building. Walk around the left side of the building, and there will be an entrance on your right. DO NOT park in the fire lane, directly along the pool building.
  • Where are your clinics, camps and classes located?
Specific locations will be listed in our booking tool, but our classes, clinics and camps are held at; Aurora Central High School, Adams City High School, Denver West High School, and Morey Middle School. Our Swim Otters Program is located at our Swim Otters Pool in Wheat Ridge.
  • Where do I park and find the pool at West High School?
If you follow directions from Google Maps, it will take you to the main school entrance on Elati Street. Instead, follow the directions to this parking lot around the corner. This is a faculty parking lot that we’ve been given permission to park in for swim lessons. If this lot is full, street parking is ample in this area. From here, you’ll see the Athletic Entrance to the school (Door 11), and Door 13 to the left of that which will be propped open. That is the pool, and where Troy Miller will be stationed to welcome you in!
  • Where do I park and find the pool at North High School?
For North High School - do NOT follow the directions on google maps, you’ll be directed to an old front entrance on Speer Blvd. Please look at the below map that shows where to find the pool. We recommend giving yourself an extra 10-15 minutes on the first day if you haven’t been to the pool before! Park in this lot, next to the tennis courts, and walk south on the path next to the football field (field will be on your left). Continue walking south, exiting the parking lot, along the left side of the pool building. Turn right at the chain link fence gate, and enter the pool building through the door that faces Speer Blvd.
