Develop: Private Lessons

Private Lessons - Ages 5+

We offer private swim instruction for swimmers who are 5 and up and who are water safe. This means that they can swim a bit on their own, and do not have fear of the water.

If you are looking for lessons for swimmers under the age of 5, please look at our Swim Otters Programs located in Wheat Ridge and Central Park.

These lessons are offered in our fall, winter, spring and summer sessions. They are all with highly skilled swim instructors who bring a coaching perspective to the lesson.

We focus these lessons on stroke development (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly), diving, and building endurance. These lessons are great for swimmers who need a bit of 1:1 instruction, and want to improve their swimming ability.

We believe that – for most swimmers – one or two sessions (~12-14 lessons) of private instruction should be sufficient for swimmers older than age 5. We will likely recommend that they move into our group lessons or Swim Squad at that point. However, this is all dependent on the swimmer and we are happy to discuss more about your swimmer’s specific needs. These are 25-minute lessons.
